This painting in the first in the series.  The Gothic church in the distance and a Celtic cross point to new destinations.  The names of roads that are featured on the cross are a tribute to his daughters (at that time, it was Merritt, Chandler, and Winsor).  In the distance, you can see Thom and Nanette walking and holding hands.
